It all started when...
Brú Brewery was set up in September 2013 by Daire and Dave. Based in Trim, County Meath, Ireland they work tirelessly pursuing their founding goal ‘to brew quality hand crafted accessible craft beer'.
Our beers are nothing but natural. Made from 100% Irish wheat and barley, everything about our beer is free except the price. Chemical free, additive free, preservative free. Even our water is fluoride and chloride free. We also care about the environment, not because it sounds like the right thing to say, but because it’s the right thing to do. We minimize our carbon footprint by bottling in Ireland and using 99% local ingredients. Even our waste - spent grain, hops and yeast - is donated to local dairy farmers.
David O’ Hare, Brú Founder. Dave@Brubrewery.ie
Dave studied Microbiology in Trinity College Dublin before taking up a variety of positions, including (weirdly), a stint at Wizard Furniture. Maturing to take up the mantle of Brewer at BRÚ, Dave enchanted those around him with mysterious and masterful brews. Now in his role as Director of Marketing & Operations, Dave still works his magic promoting BRÚ both domestically and internationally.
Daire Harlin, Brú Founder, Daire@brubrewery.ie
A law graduate of Griffith College Dublin, Daire founded and ran his own solicitor shop locally in Meath for over 7 years. When the opportunity for BRÚ came along, the law of attraction proved too strong and Daire swapped home brewing for the big time. Mixing law with a healthy thirst for knowledge on all things beer, Daire now operates as Director of Business Development and has found & acquired our three pub sites.
